The incident prompted users to tag Bengaluru police, though authorities were slow to respond.

Despite this progress, navigating non-traditional romance remains a tightrope walk for Sandalwood. Mass audiences in tier-2 and tier-3 cities often still prefer high-octane commercial entertainers with traditional family values. Filmmakers frequently face online backlash or censorship hurdles when pushing the envelope too far regarding sexual liberation or unconventional relationship dynamics.
